Main Module: Diploma in Geotechnical Tunnel Design

PRESENTATION

This diploma seeks to train engineers and geologists in the subject of Geotechnical Design of tunnels. The development of underground works is of great importance in mining, civil, hydraulic transportation and storage projects. 

By studying the geological and geomechanical variables present in the construction areas of underground works, it is possible to establish the governing factors that define their positioning, dimensions with support and fortification requests. 

For this reason, projects that involve construction of underground spaces demand specialized professionals who are capable of knowing and carrying out a correct geotechnical design of tunnels, through the interpretation of geological, structural, hydrogeological and geomechanical modeling data.

TRAINING MODALITY

The modality presented is the “Virtual-OFFLINE” (Virtual asynchronous); in this you will develop a course every 30 days, which is made up of videos, slideshows, materials and questions to the speaker.

At the end of every module, the student must take an exam to pass it and move on to the next course.

You will be assigned the tutoring of a specialist and there will be no limitations in terms of access hours or consultations with the speaker, this promotes that you train efficiently.The hours dedicated to each module must be managed assertively to optimize the benefit.

You will experience all of the above through our virtual campus, which will also allow us to monitor your progress.
